A Plan for the 10^th English Week Activities in Xinzhuyuan Middle School

I. The main purpose

    Christmas is coming! In order to improve the enthusiasm of students to learn English, have much fun in learning English and encourage the students to show their spoken English and English learning skills, the 10^th English Week Activities will take place in our school. Students in our school will feel the joy of learning English and obtain the experience of success by having various of activities.

II. The date and the content for the English Week Activities

Students are expected to take part in the activities from December 22 to December 26 in Week 17.

The theme of the activities is Christmas is Calling.

The content:

  A. School Activities

a. The Opening Ceremony. (on the morning of December 22)

b. The Christmas Song Contest.

c. One Class, One Person, One Song.

d. Christmas Background Knowledge.

e. The Final Show – The Closing Ceremony. (on the afternoon of December 26)

  B. Grade Activities

a. Tongue Twister in Grade Six.

b. Christmas Food Festival in Grade Seven.

c. Handcraft Show in Grade Eight.
